Prayer for spiritual growth

I planted, Apollo watered; but God gave the increase. Therefore, neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God, who gives the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6,7

Lord my God, this mine prayer for spiritual growth it is my desire to be closer to the Lord. You know that life has many challenges, that's why I give my life to the Lord. This way I will be adequately preparing myself for your kingdom. Forgive my sins and save me for your eternal kingdom.

I give you my life because I want to be a new person, changed by the operation of the Holy Spirit in my life. Don't allow discouragement to take me away from this journey towards the new heaven and new earth. Help me honor you regardless of life's circumstances. My life is much better when I feel the Lord by my side.

In this prayer of spiritual growth, I give my heart to you so that I can adjust it according to your will. My hope is secure in the cross of Christ, my beloved savior. I recognize your greatness that I am nothing, that is why I prostrate myself before your holy and fair presence. But also I see your mercies that are new every morning.

Your kindness attracts me, so it takes me closer to you and saves me from this evil world. Don't allow the world to take me away from you and keep the enemy away from me. I need you, my God, strengthen me and reinvigorate my spirit. Remove from my life everything that separates me from you, This way I will grow in my spiritual life.

Here is my life, here I am seeking you with this prayer for spiritual growth. Thus I sanctify myself in your full truth that serves as daily nourishment. Without the Lord I will be like the lost, who follow their own path and live according to their will. But by your side I have all the power at my disposal. I thank you because even in small faith the Lord moves mountains in answer to prayers.

Dear heavenly Father, help me to be like Jesus, strengthen my faith. Give me courage on my new journey. There are great joys for those who follow Jesus, who cling to his mantle of righteousness. Be my helper, the one who lifts me up when I fall. Take care of my dear ones and help them to seek the Lord. The Lord is God up close, God who desires to dwell in our midst and show his unconditional love.

It is your Holy Spirit who seeks you with this prayer for spiritual growth. I owe you everything I am and have, my hopes come from what Christ did for me. So the Lord is the most precious thing I have. Help me to grow in my communion with you, firm my steps towards the new land that inhabits justice. Jesus is precious to me, so I seek his infinite justice to grow in faith.

In you I will always take refuge to be safe from the enemy that ravages the world. I will trust in you, my God, because the Lord is the one who sustains all things, visible and invisible. Answer this prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen!
