“If you follow my decrees and obey my commandments and put them into practice,

I will send them rain in the right season, and the earth will yield its harvest and the trees of the field will yield their fruit.

The threshing will continue until the harvest of the grapes, and the harvest of the grapes will continue until the time of planting, and you will eat until you are satisfied and you will live in security in your land.

“I will establish peace in the land, and you will lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will make wild animals disappear from the land, and the sword will not pass through your land.

You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword.

Five of you will pursue a hundred, a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.

“I will turn to you and make you prosperous; and I will multiply you and keep my covenant with you.

You will still be eating the harvest stored from the previous year, when you will have to get rid of it to make room for the new harvest.

I will establish my dwelling among you and will not reject you.

I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would no longer be their slaves; I broke the beams of the yoke that bound them and made them walk with their heads held high. “

“But if you do not listen to me and do not put into practice all these commandments,

and despise my decrees, reject my ordinances, fail to do all my commandments, and are unfaithful to my covenant,

then I will treat them like this: I will bring them sudden terror, illnesses and fever that will take away their sight and ruin their lives. You will sow in vain, because your enemies will eat your seeds.

My face will be against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies; your adversaries will dominate you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.

“If you do not listen to me after all this, I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

I will break your rebellious pride and make the sky above you like iron and your earth like bronze.

Your strength will be wasted in vain, for the land will not give you a harvest, nor will the trees of the land bear fruit for you.

“If you continue to oppose me and refuse to listen to me, I will punish you seven times more according to your sins.

I will send wild animals against you that will kill your children, I will destroy your livestock and reduce you to so few that your paths will be deserted.

“If despite this you do not accept my discipline, but continue to oppose me,

I myself will oppose you and punish you seven times more for your sins.

And I will bring the sword against you to avenge the covenant. When you take refuge in your cities, I will send you a plague, and you will be delivered into enemy hands.

When I cut off their bread supply, ten women will bake the bread in a single oven and divide the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied.

“If despite all this you still do not listen to me, but continue to oppose me,

then I will oppose you in fury, and I myself will punish you seven times more for your sins.

You will eat the flesh of your sons and your daughters.

I will destroy your idolatrous altars, I will tear down your incense altars, and I will pile your carcasses on your dead idols, and I will reject you.

I will leave your cities in ruins and raze your sanctuaries to the ground, and I will not take pleasure in the aroma of your offerings.

I will desolate the land to the point that its enemies who come to occupy it will be perplexed.

I will scatter you among the nations and draw a sword against you. Your land will be desolate, and your cities will be in ruins.

Then the land will enjoy its sabbatical years while it is desolate and while you are in the land of your enemies; and the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.

While it is desolate, the land will have the Sabbath rest it did not have when you inhabited it.

“As for those who survive, I will fill their hearts with such fear in the land of the enemy, that the sound of a leaf blowing in the wind will send them fleeing. They will run as if fleeing from the sword, and will fall, with no one pursuing them.

They will stumble over each other, as if fleeing from the sword, with no one pursuing them. This way you will not be able to survive in the face of your enemies.

You will perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies will devour you.

Those who survive will rot in the enemy's land because of their sins, and also because of the sins of their ancestors.

“But if you confess your sins and the sins of your ancestors, your unfaithfulness and opposition to me,

which led me to oppose them and to send them into the land of their enemies; if their stubborn hearts humble themselves, and they accept the punishment of their sin,

I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land,

that by them she will be abandoned and will enjoy her Sabbaths while she remains desolate. They will receive the punishment for their sins because they despised my ordinances and rejected my decrees.

Despite this, when they are in the land of the enemy, I will not despise them, nor reject them, to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them, for I am the Lord, their God.

But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors, which I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, to be their God. I am the Lord. “

These are the decrees, ordinances and laws that the Lord established on Mount Sinai between himself and the Israelites, through Moses.
