Leviticus 20 – Verses from Leviticus 20 from the book of Leviticus in the Bible.
1 The Lord said to Moses:
2 “Tell the Israelites: Any Israelite or foreigner residing in Israel who hands over one of his children to Molech must be executed. The people of the land will stone him.
3 I will set my face against him and cut him off from among his people; for he gave his sons to Molech, thus defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name.

4 If the people deliberately close their eyes when someone hands over one of their sons to Molech and fails to execute him,
5 I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will eliminate him and all who follow him from among his people, prostituting themselves to Molech.
6 “I will set my face against anyone who seeks mediums and spiritists to follow them, prostituting themselves with them. I will eliminate him from among his people.
7 “But consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.
8 Obey my decrees and practice them. I am the Lord who sanctifies them.
9 “If anyone curses their father or mother, they will have to be executed. For having cursed your father or mother, you deserve death.
10 “If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, with his neighbor's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be executed.
11 “If a man sleeps with his father's wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman will have to be executed, as they deserve death.
12 “If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them will have to be executed. What they did is depravity; deserve death.
13 “If a man lies with another man as one lies with a woman, both have committed a disgusting act. They will have to be executed, as they deserve death.
14 “If a man takes a woman and her mother, he commits wickedness. Both he and they will be burned with fire, so that there will be no wickedness among you.
15 “If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be executed, and you must kill the animal as well.
16 “If a woman approaches any animal to join it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. Both will have to be executed, as they deserve death.
17 “If a man takes his sister, the daughter of his father or mother, as his wife and has sexual relations with her, he commits a shameful act. They will be eliminated in the sight of all the people. He dishonored his sister and will suffer the consequences of his iniquity.
18 “If a man sleeps with a woman during menstruation and has sexual relations with her, both of them will be eliminated from among their people, because they exposed her bleeding.
19 “Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister or your father's sister; for whoever has sexual involvement with a close relative will suffer the consequences of his iniquity.
20 “If a man sleeps with his uncle's wife, he has dishonored his uncle. They will suffer the consequences of their sin; they will die without children.
21 “If a man takes his brother's wife to be his wife, he commits impurity; dishonored his brother. They will be left without children.
22 “Obey all my decrees and laws and practice them, so that the land where I am taking you to live does not vomit you out.
23 Do not follow the customs of the people that I am going to expel from before you. Because they did all these things, they disgust me.
24 But I promised you that you will inherit their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the Lord, your God, who separated you from among the people.
25 “Therefore, make separation between clean and unclean animals and between clean and unclean birds. Do not contaminate yourselves with animals, birds, or any creature that moves close to the ground, which I separated from you because they are unclean.
26 You will be holy to me, because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have separated you from the people to be mine.
27 “The men or women among you who are mediums or spiritists will have to be executed. They will be stoned, because they deserve death.”
