I am the light that came into the world, so that whoever believes in me should not remain in darkness.

And if anyone hears my words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I came, not to judge the world, but to save the world.

Whoever rejects me and does not receive my words has someone who will judge him; The word that I have preached will judge him on the last day.

Because I have not spoken of myself; but the Father, who sent me, has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak about.

And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Therefore, what I speak, I speak as the Father has told me.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
