An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. Then he left them and went away.

And when his disciples had crossed over to the other side, they had forgotten to bring bread. And Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, "It is because we brought no bread.".
And Jesus, perceiving this, said: “Why are you reasoning among yourselves, you of little faith, about having brought no bread?”

Do you still not understand, nor do you remember the five loaves of bread for the five thousand men, and how many baskets you gathered?
