“Listen, then, to the parable of the sower. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and takes away what was sown in his heart; This is what was sown along the path.

He who was sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
But it has no root in itself, rather it is of short duration; and when anguish and persecution come, because of the word, he is immediately offended;

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through belief in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10:17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
