Lord, before the cross of Calvary Christ made the Gethsemane prayer, because there he was going to prepare for the big moment and save my life. I am grateful for this great gift that came into the world to take me from the world of perdition to salvation. Then I cling to the cross of Christ, not materially, but spiritually taking possession of its blessings.

I know that the Lord is hearing my prayer from Gethsemane, because he heard Christ's. Although I am imperfect I cling to the perfection of the cross. For there was my master, prince of peace, lion of Judah, the alpha and omega, the lamb of God, Immanuel, prince of peace, the ruler of the kings of the earth to save my life.
