My eternal Father, I thank you in advance for the opportunity to be with you with this prayer of rest. Without a doubt, the Lord calls us to your rest in the face of all the afflictions that happen in the world, from my sins and purifies me daily. Help me to always see the Lord preparing a place for me to bow my head and have your peace.

So do to me what you desire and help me to walk uprightly without looking back. I will surely rest in peace in my bed because I know that Christ will be by my side. So may grace and praise be given to your most high name, for the Lord cares about every person on this earth and desires to save each one.
I thank the Lord for your guard and safety because the Lord sends all the angels around us to protect us from the evil one. So in this prayer of rest I want to first place my head on the shoulders of my savior. There I want to feel the hand of Christ showing your immense love and affection.
In you, my God, I have a restorative rest that helps me recover from the battles of life. Then in you I will rest, I will feel the warmth of your Holy Spirit igniting in me the faith and hope that is only in Christ. So within me my heart will become more open to your purpose every day, following the fight of faith.

What would I do without the Lord? Without a doubt I would be like those who will get lost. However, I accepted your eternal salvation, then Grace embraced me and did an immense work. That's why I'm here before you, seeking you with this prayer and obtaining the light that comes from your throne of grace.
So do to me what you think is best, put me in your rest, give me rest. This way I could get all the renewal I need for the daily struggle. So may the Lord hear this prayer of rest and make me rest in a private corner that He prepared for me.

I will rest in your arm of mercy because there I will have rest from the earthly poison. In this way I will be able to get away from everything that is contaminated with earthly odor, so at least for a minute I will feel heavenly peace.
I will never stop seeking you with this prayer of rest because I know you hear every word I say. Surely the Lord knows all my mind and I want to fulfill your purpose in my life every moment.
