Lord, do not let disappointments overwhelm them or discouragement overcome them. Help them to face their responsibilities with renewed courage and to fulfill them in the best possible way. May they be firm and severe when necessary, without ceasing to be good. May they never lose themselves in impatience.
That I no notice, Lord, not only your defects, but also your qualities, and may I know not only to admire your good examples, but to imitate them.
Keep them, O God, in Your love. And may our family, now living together under their care and blessings, also live together in heaven. Amen“
