Fill my heart with the gratitude that never takes such a blessing for granted. When I am thoughtless or careless in my relationships with those you have given me, give me the grace to ask for forgiveness.
When I feel hurt, give me the grace to forgive and forget the wrong. In moments of joy with my family, give me a heart of joy. In moments of sadness, give me a heart of compassion, that we may live in harmony. That we may offer each other the same love that the Lord gives us as His children. I ask this with a heart of gratitude for all that You have given me. Amen.”
