Before you I lay my life with this self-control prayer because I know that only through the Holy Spirit can I have this gift. Therefore, I once again place my life in your hands to consecrate you to you. Certainly the Lord did not give your servants a spirit of cowardice but of perseverance and determination at all costs.

My Father, the enemy will put many obstacles in my life for me to lose my patience. That's why I need your Holy Spirit to not give in to the temptation of the evil one. Without your help I would be a lost person. That's why I consecrate my life to you at this moment.
I know that if the Lord looks at me he won't see anything good, because everything good I have comes from you. That's why I seek you with this prayer of self-control because I trust that only your presence in my life changes it. Only In the Lord I can trust my soul to be transformed.
Therefore, remove from me every spirit of cowardice and unbelief. Make in me an address that can change my life completely. So give me your power to overcome the evil one and not kneel before darkness. Like this I will be able to testify to you, even in the greatest difficulties.

I wish, like the apostles, to always be seeking the Lord with this prayer of self-control. Because that's how the Lord changed the lives of each of those apostles. Although many of them had a difficult personality, the Holy Spirit entered their hearts and transformed them into good men.
That's why I believe in your promise, because when I look at my life I don't see a solution. When I look at the work that Christ can do in me, I see salvation before my face. Then I don't want to abandon you at any time because then I won't be able to bear even the small tests.
I know the Lord is listening to my prayer for self-control because He wants to transform me. So help me keep faithful consecration to the Lord at all costs. And also Give me your power of love and balance as it is written in these verses.
Don't allow the flames of passion to dominate my life, in the same way, don't allow me to get out of control easily. Then give me patience, self-control so as not to make hasty decisions. Inhabit me and help me to be a new person.
May your presence be manifested in my life, may I feel your Spirit in this prayer of self-control. This way I will feel certain every day that I have all the power on my side to overcome evil. Soon the end will come, I want to be a person prepared for your kingdom.
So I consecrate myself at this moment by placing my life entirely in your hands. Protect me and keep me from myself, keep me from the evil one and the people he can use. You know my weak point, so answer this prayer of mine in the name of Jesus. Amen!
