But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:23
My prayer of worship is to seek You, eternal God. And the light came to the Samaritan woman and invited her to drink much better water than the one he was seeking at the well. In the same way that Jesus offered that water to that Samaritan woman, He offers it to me too.

The things of this world, my God, are fleeting, soon everything will fall apart. But my God, the only thing we take with us is our character. Therefore, Father, forgive my sins and help me forge my character in the struggles of this life.. Anything that helps me drink this water, that transforms me into a new person every day, I want. The process is painful, but I know that in the end your purpose will be fulfilled.
Help me to look at Jesus the same way that Samaritan woman did.. She realized that he was different, she said that he was a prophet. But the one standing before her was the creator of the universe, God the Son. The one who had created everything together with the Father, came down to the world to save her life. The one who created the water in rivers, lakes and seas was asking for water to drink and at the same time offering better water than what he was asking for..
May the giver of life, Jesus Christ, the one who died to save me, come with the Holy Spirit and give me the water of life. Help me, my God, to worship you in Spirit and in truth.. I say this prayer of adoration because I desire a life in your hands.

Oh God, Christ looked into the innermost part of that woman, and revealed to her that He was the Savior of humanity. She believed, and so do I, and I want to drink this water. May God not allow me to drink the water of the world, the water of pride, the water of selfishness, the water of strife, the water of envy..
I pray this prayer of adoration because I want to worship you in spirit and in truth. Lord God, do not allow me to live a spiritual life just for the sake of it.. I do not want, O Father, religious formalism, but help me to live a true religion, worshiping you in spirit and in truth. Help me to live a righteous life. Help me to drink of the water of life, drinking of your sacred word, drinking through communion and prayer with you.
O God, transform my heart so that my reason for coming to You is not selfish, but honorable. I don't want to follow you simply because of family tradition, but for real reasons.. May my heart be steadfast in you.
Your love for me is independent of the situation, the mark of Jesus is on me. Jesus would do it all over again, dying for my sins. Christ saw something in me just as He saw in that Samaritan woman at Jacob's well. He even prayed for me in the chapter 17th of John.
How can you love me so much and say: Father, it is finished. That is why I pray this prayer of adoration in the name of Jesus. Amen!
