“Say this to the Israelites: These are my festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you will proclaim as holy gatherings:

“In six days carry out your work, but the seventh day is Saturday, a day of rest and sacred assembly. Do not perform any work; wherever they live, it will be a Sabbath dedicated to the Lord.

“These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, the sacred gatherings which you will proclaim in due time:

The Lord's Passover begins at dusk on the fourteenth day of the first month.

On the fifteenth day of that month the feast of the Lord begins, the feast of unleavened bread; for seven days you will eat unleavened bread.

On the first day hold a sacred meeting and do no work.

For seven days, present offerings prepared by fire to the Lord. And on the seventh day hold a sacred meeting and do no work.”

 The Lord said to Moses:

“Tell the Israelites this: When you enter the land I am giving you and harvest your harvest, bring a sheaf of the first grain you harvest to the priest.

The priest will ritually wave the sheaf before the Lord so that it may be accepted on your behalf; he will move it on the day after the Sabbath.

On the day you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a one-year-old lamb without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord.

Also present a grain offering of two jars of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering prepared by fire to the Lord with a pleasant aroma, and a pour-over offering of a liter of wine.

You may not eat any bread, nor parched grain, nor new grain, until the day you bring this offering to your God. This is a perpetual decree for your generations, wherever they live.

“From the day after the Sabbath, the day on which you bring the sheaf of the ritually waved offering, count seven full weeks.

Count fifty days, until the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.

Wherever you live, bring from home two loaves of bread made from two jars of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the Lord.

Along with the bread, present seven lambs, each a year old and without blemish, a bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the Lord, along with their grain offerings and their spill offerings; It is an offering prepared by fire, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

Then sacrifice a goat as a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, as a fellowship offering.

The priest will move the two lambs before the Lord as a ritual gesture of presentation, along with the firstfruits bread. They are a sacred offering to the Lord that belong to the priest.

On that very day you will proclaim a sacred meeting and do no work. This is a perpetual decree for your generations, wherever you live.

“When you harvest your land, do not harvest all the way to the edge of your field, nor gather up the ears of grain that have fallen from your harvest. Leave them for those in need and for those abroad. I am the Lord, your God.”

 The Lord said to Moses:

“Tell the Israelites also: On the first day of the seventh month you will have a day of rest, a sacred meeting, celebrated with trumpet blasts.

Do no work, but present an offering prepared by fire to the Lord.”

 The Lord said to Moses:

“The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a holy meeting and humble yourselves, and present an offering prepared by fire to the Lord.

Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord, your God.

Whoever does not humble himself on that day will be eliminated from his people.

I will destroy from among your people everyone who does any work on that day.

You will not do any work. This is a perpetual decree for your generations, wherever you live.

It is a Sabbath of rest for you, and you will humble yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the evening of the next day you shall keep this Sabbath.”

 The Lord said to Moses:

“Tell the Israelites: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month the Feast of the Booths of the Lord begins, which lasts seven days.

On the first day there will be a sacred meeting; do not perform any work.

For seven days present offerings prepared by fire to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold another sacred meeting, and also present an offering prepared by fire to the Lord. It is a solemn meeting; do not perform any work.

(These are the set feasts of the Lord, which you will proclaim as sacred gatherings to bring to the Lord fire offerings, burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and spill offerings required for each day.

This is apart from the Sabbath of the Lord and apart from your gifts and vows, and all the freewill offerings that you give to the Lord. )

“So, beginning on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered in what the land has produced, celebrate the feast of the Lord for seven days; the first day and also the eighth will be days of rest.

On the first day you will gather the best fruits from the trees, date palm leaves, leafy branches and willows, and you will rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

Celebrate this feast of the Lord during seven days every year. This is a perpetual decree for your generations; celebrate it in the seventh month.

Live in tents for seven days; all Israelites by birth will live in tents,

so that your descendants may know that I made the Israelites live in tents when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord, your God.”

Thus Moses announced to the Israelites the fixed feasts of the Lord.
