 “Place the altar of burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting;

 Place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and fill it with water.

 Set up the patio around you and place the curtain at the entrance to the patio.

 “Anoint the tabernacle and everything in it with the anointing oil; consecrate it together with everything that belongs to it, and it will be holy.

 Then anoint the altar of burnt offerings and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it will be most holy.

 Also anoint the basin with its base and consecrate it.

 “Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and tell them to wash.

 Then dress Aaron in the holy garments, anoint him and consecrate him to serve me as a priest.

 Bring his children and dress them in robes.

 Anoint them as you anointed their father, so that they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be for a perpetual priesthood, generation after generation.”

 Moses did everything as the Lord commanded him.

 So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.

 Moses set up the tabernacle, put the bases in place, set up the frames, placed the beams and raised the columns.

 Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and placed the covering over it, as the Lord had commanded.

 He also placed the tables of the covenant in the ark, fastened the poles to it, and placed the lid on it.

 Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the protective veil, covering the ark of the covenant, as the Lord had commanded.

 Moses set the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil,

 and upon it he placed the loaves of the Presence, before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded.

 He placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the table, on the south side of the tabernacle,

 and he placed the lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded.

 Moses also placed the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil,

 and he burned fragrant incense in it, as the Lord had commanded.

 He also put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

 He set up the altar of burnt offerings at the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered burnt offerings and grain offerings on it, as the Lord had commanded.

 He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and filled it with water;

 Moses, Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet.

 Whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting and approached the altar, they washed, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 Finally, Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and placed the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. Thus Moses finished the work.

 Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud was over it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

 Whenever the cloud lifted over the tabernacle, the Israelites continued their journey;

 but if the cloud did not lift, they did not proceed; They only left on the day she rose.

 By day the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle, and by night there was fire in the cloud, in the sight of all the nation of Israel, in all their journeys.
