Exodus 39 – Verses from Exodus 39 from the book of Exodus in the Bible.

 With threads of blue, purple and red fabric they made the liturgical vestments to minister in the Holy Place. They also made Aaron's holy garments, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 He made the priestly vest of finely woven linen and gold thread and blue, purple and red thread.

 And they beat the gold into thin plates from which they cut gold threads to be embroidered on the fine linen with threads of blue, purple and red fabric, a handmade work.

 They made shoulder pads for the priestly vest, fastening them to both ends so that they could be tied.

 The belt and the vest attached to it were made from the same piece. The belt was also made of fine woven linen and gold thread and blue, purple and red thread, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 They set the onyx stones in gold filigrees and engraved on them the names of the children of Israel, as a stonecutter engraves a seal.

 Then they sewed them into the shoulder pads of the priest's vest, as memorial stones for the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 He made the breastplate, a handmade work, like the priestly vest: of fine braided linen, of gold thread and blue, purple and red fabric threads.

 It was square, a foot long and a foot wide, and folded in two.

 Then they set four rows of precious stones on it. In the first row there was a ruby, a topaz and a beryl;

 in the second, a turquoise, a sapphire and a diamond;

 in the third, a hyacinth, an agate and an amethyst;

 in the fourth, a chrysolite, an onyx and a jasper, all set in gold filigrees.

 There were twelve stones, one for each name of the children of Israel, each engraved as a stonecutter engraves a seal, with the name of one of the twelve tribes.

 For the breastplate they made braided chains of pure gold, like ropes.

 Of gold they made two filigrees and two rings, which they attached to the two ends of the breastplate.

 They attached the two golden chains to the two rings at the ends of the breastplate,

 and the other ends of the chains, to the two filigrees, joining them to the shoulder pieces of the priestly vest, on the front.

 They made two other gold rings and attached them to the two ends of the breastplate on the inner edge, next to the priestly vest.

 Then they made two more gold rings and attached them to the lower part of the shoulder pads, on the front of the priestly vest, close to the seam, just above the belt of the priestly vest.

 They tied the rings of the breastplate to the rings of the vest with a blue cord, connecting it to the belt, so that the breastplate would not separate from the priestly vest, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 They made the mantle of the priestly vest entirely from threads of blue cloth, the work of a weaver,

 with an opening in the center. Around this opening was a woven fold, like a collar, so that it would not tear.

 They made pomegranates of finely woven linen and blue, purple, and red thread around the edge of the cloak.

 They also made small bells of pure gold, tying them around the edge, between the pomegranates.

 The bells and pomegranates alternated along the entire edge of the mantle. Everything was made to be used when ministering, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 For Aaron and his sons they made their tunics of fine linen, the work of a weaver,

 the turban, the caps and the breeches, of fine braided linen.

 The belt was also made of fine woven linen and blue, purple and red thread, the work of an embroiderer, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 They made the sacred diadem of pure gold, and engraved on it as a seal is engraved: Consecrated to the Lord.

 Then they used a blue cord to fasten it to the top of the turban, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 Thus the entire work of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses; the tent and all its utensils, the hooks, the frames, the crossbars, the posts and the bases,

 the sheepskin covering dyed red, the leather covering and the protective veil,

 the ark of the covenant with its poles and lid,

 the table with all its utensils and the bread of the Presence,

 the lampstand of pure gold with its row of lamps and all its utensils and the oil for lighting,

 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweet incense and the entrance curtain to the tent,

 the bronze altar with its grate, its poles and all its utensils, the basin and its base,

 the outer curtains of the courtyard with its pillars and bases and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard, the ropes and pegs of the tent of the courtyard, all the utensils for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting,

 and the liturgical vestments for ministering in the Holy Place, both the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest and the vestments for his sons when they served as priests.

 The Israelites did all the work as the Lord had commanded Moses.

 Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done everything as the Lord had commanded. Then Moses blessed them.
