Exodus 36 – Verses from Exodus 36 from the book of Exodus in the Bible.

“So Bezalel, Oholiab and all the capable men, to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to do all the work of building the sanctuary, will do the work as the Lord has commanded. “

Then Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and all the capable men to whom the Lord had given ability and who were willing to come and do the work.

They received from Moses all the offerings that the Israelites had brought for the work of building the sanctuary. And the people continued to voluntarily bring offerings, morning after morning.

Therefore, all the skilled craftsmen working at the shrine stopped work

and they said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough to carry out the work that the Lord has commanded.”

Then Moses ordered this proclamation to be made throughout the camp: “No man or woman shall do anything more to be offered to the sanctuary.” So the people were prevented from bringing more,

because what they had already received was more than enough to carry out the entire work.

All the able-bodied men among the workers made the tabernacle with ten inner curtains of finely woven linen and blue, purple, and red thread, with cherubim embroidered on them.

All the interior curtains were the same size: twelve meters and sixty centimeters long by five meters and eighty centimeters wide.

He fastened five inner curtains, and did the same with the other five.

Then he made loops of blue fabric along the edge of the last inner curtain of the first set of inner curtains, doing the same with the second set.

He also made fifty loops in the first inner curtain and fifty loops in the last inner curtain of the second set; the loops were opposite each other.

Then he made fifty golden hooks and with them he attached one set of inner curtains to the other, so that the tabernacle formed a whole.

With a total of eleven inner curtains of goats' hair he made a tent to cover the tabernacle.

The eleven internal curtains were the same size: thirteen and a half meters long by one meter and eighty centimeters wide.

He attached five internal curtains to one set and the other six to another set.

Then he made fifty loops around the edge of the last inner curtain of one of the sets and also around the edge of the last inner curtain of the other set.

He also made fifty bronze hooks to join the tent together, forming a whole.

Then he made a covering of sheepskin dyed red for the tent, and over this a covering of leather.

He also made vertical frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle.

Each frame was four and a half meters long and seventy centimeters wide,

with two fittings parallel to each other. And he made all the frames of the tabernacle of this wood.

He also made twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle.

and forty sockets of silver to be placed under them; two bases for each frame, one under each fitting.

For the other side, the north side of the tabernacle, he made twenty frames

and forty silver bases, two under each frame.

He also made six frames at the back of the tabernacle, that is, towards the west side,

and two frames were set up in the corners at the back of the tabernacle.

In these two corners the frames were double, from the bottom to the highest, placed on a single ring, both made in the same way.

There were therefore eight frames and sixteen silver bases, two under each frame.

He also made bars of acacia wood: five for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,

five for those on the other side and five for those on the west side, at the back of the tabernacle.

He made the central crossbar from one end to the other, passing through the middle of the frames.

He overlaid the frames with gold and made gold rings to support the bars, which he also overlaid with gold.

He made the veil of fine braided linen and blue, purple and red thread, and had cherubs embroidered on it.

He made four pillars for it of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. He also made hooks of gold and cast their bases of silver.

 For the entrance to the tent he made a curtain of finely woven linen and blue, purple and red thread, the work of an embroiderer;

and he made five pillars for it with hooks. He overlaid the top and sides of the columns with gold and made their five bases of bronze.
