And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest field.
Go! I am sending you out as lambs among wolves. Do not take a purse or a bag or sandals; and do not greet anyone along the way.
“When you enter a house, first say, 'Peace to this house.'
If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
Stay in that house and eat and drink what they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move from house to house.

“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you.
Heal the sick there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'
But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go out into its streets and say:
'Even the dust of your city, which clings to our feet, we wipe off against you. Be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.'
I tell you, it will be more tolerable on that day for Sodom than for that town.“.

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
