For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a pen will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ will be in danger of the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Therefore if you are bringing your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Truly I tell you, you will never get out until you have paid the last farthing.“.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day
As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
