I have compassion for the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat.
And if I let them go home hungry, they will faint on the way, for some of them have come from far away.
And his disciples answered him, Whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said unto him, Seven.

And he took the seven loaves, and when he had given thanks, he broke them, and gave them to his disciples to set before them: and they set them before the multitude.

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the coasts of Dalmanutha. And the Pharisees came out, and began to dispute with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, to test him.
And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? Verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given to this generation.
And he left them, and got into the boat again, and went to the other side.“.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day
As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
