Adverts

And they brought him a deaf man, who spoke with difficulty; and they begged him to lay his hand on him.

And taking him apart from the crowd, he put his fingers in his ears; and, spitting, touched his tongue.

And lifting up his eyes to heaven, he sighed, and said, Ephatah; that is, Open up. And immediately his ears were opened, and the prison of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke perfectly.

And he ordered them not to tell anyone; but the more he prohibited them, the more they spread it.

Adverts

And, marveling greatly, they said: Everything is good; makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
