It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth;

But when it is sown, it grows and becomes greater than all herbs and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can nest under its shade.

And without a parable he spake not unto them: but in private he declared all things unto his disciples..

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
