“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Adverts

Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic.

And give to every one that asketh thee: and from him that taketh away thine, ask not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

And if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what reward do you have? Even sinners do the same.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.

Adverts

Love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, even as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; release, and ye shall be released.

Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be put into your lap. For with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you..

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.

I would like to receive new Blessings?
