Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who now weep, for you will laugh.

Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they separate you, and revile you, and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.

Have fun on that day, rejoice; for behold, your reward is great in heaven, as their fathers did to the prophets.

But woe to you rich! because you already have your consolation.

Adverts

Woe to you who are full, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.

Woe to you when all your men say well, because their fathers did so to the false prophets.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
