He said: “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men.

Now there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, 'Give me justice against my adversary.'

“For a time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Though I do not fear God or care for men,
This widow is bothering me; I will give her justice so that she will not come and bother me again.'

And the Lord continued: “Hear what the unjust judge says.
Will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep making them wait?

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
