If you had faith as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

And which of you shall have a servant plowing or tending cattle, and shall say unto him, when he hath come in from the field, Come near, and sit down to meat?

And do you not rather say to him, Prepare me supper, and gird yourself, and serve me until I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink?

Does he thank that servant because he did what he was told? I think not.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
