Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the others because they suffered like this?
I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all also perish.

Or do you think that those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them were worse offenders than all the other inhabitants of Jerusalem?

I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all also perish.” Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it but found none.

So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, 'For three years now I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut it down! Why should it waste the land? '

The man replied, 'Sir, leave it alone for one more year, and I will dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, great! If not, cut it down.' “.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
