“So they said to him, What sign do you do, so that we may see it and believe in you? What do you operate?

Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness, as it is written: He gave them the bread from heaven to eat.

Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

Because the bread of God is the one that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
So they said to him, Lord, always give us this bread.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 6:30-35

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
