He will not cry out, nor exalt himself, nor make his voice heard in the street.
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out; in truth he will bring forth justice.

He will not fail, nor be discouraged, until he establishes justice in the earth; and the isles will wait for his law.

Thus says God the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and everything that comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it.

I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness, and I will hold your hand, and will keep you, and will give you for a covenant of the people, and for a light to the Gentiles.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through believing in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10;17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
