This is the invitation of the Gospel: that we may be agents of divine mercy in the world.<\/p>\n

As the passage concludes, Jesus reaffirms God\u2019s will: \u201cIn the same way, it is not the will of your Father in heaven that any of these little ones should perish.\u201d This statement reinforces the universality of God\u2019s love.
