Your majesty, O Jesus, spreads throughout the universe, Your cross was excellent for me, it gave me a new opportunity for life, salvation, it strengthened my life and placed me in higher places<\/b>. I ask your forgiveness for every moment that through thought and actions I demonstrated that I was far from you.<\/p>\n
My beloved Father who is in heaven gave me the Lord as a living sacrifice to save my life. Now I have a new opportunity, a new hope, that only through you I can have. Without your cross Lord, I know I won't make it, but it is the bridge over the abyss, it is the bridge that my good shepherd leads me to heaven. I thank Jesus, for being my guide, for being my shepherd<\/b>, because it is such a huge price for me. I know that on this earth I suffer with the sorrows of life, but I know that I can suffer like never to never suffer again<\/b>. Always be the shepherd of my life, do not allow the leaving of your pasture to help me and keep me with your faithful sheep.<\/p>\n

May Jesus be my daily intercessor, the Lord is the only one who intercedes before the Father, he was the only one who was perfect enough to die for the unrepentant sinner. Only the blood of God, man, incarnate could save humanity. So Jesus, may your blood cover me and purify me, and guide me to green pastures<\/b>.<\/p>\n

When their lives are in order. When they are strong.<\/p>\n But prayer, especially the Prayer to the Divine Shepherd, is a firm and loving reminder:<\/p>\n You can pray exactly as you are.<\/strong><\/p>\n Tired? You can be. The shepherd doesn't wait for the sheep to be perfect before caring for it. He cares for it in order to heal it.<\/p>\n One of the most beautiful things about traditional Christian prayers is that they carry a spirituality that transcends generations.<\/p>\n The Prayer of the Divine Shepherd was not born as a "pretty text to impress." It was born as a prayer of people who learned that they needed God in their daily lives.<\/p>\n She has that comforting tone.<\/p>\n Because, fundamentally, when we say "Divine Shepherd," we are acknowledging three things:<\/p>\n I don't have to carry everything alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n I can be guided.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n I can trust in God's care.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n And that completely changes the way we approach things.<\/p>\n Do you realize how different it is to live saying:<\/p>\n \u201c"I can handle everything."\u201d<\/p>\n versus<\/p>\n \u201c"I can't handle everything... but I have a Shepherd."\u201d<\/p>\n It's a different kind of peace.<\/p>\n Let's be honest? We like to feel in control.<\/p>\n We like to organize, decide, plan, and predict. And it even makes sense: responsibility is important. But life has phases where not even the most organized of human beings can "figure it out" alone.<\/p>\n There are days when you try to think and your mind feels like a messy room. And in those days, the figure of the Divine Shepherd becomes even more powerful, because it doesn't humiliate you. It guides you.<\/p>\n The shepherd doesn't yell at the sheep for being tired. He shortens his pace and walks alongside them.<\/p>\n And when you pray the Prayer to the Divine Shepherd, even if it's with few words, you are saying with humility and faith:<\/p>\n \u201c"Jesus, guide me. I trust."\u201d<\/p>\n That is spiritual maturity.<\/p>\n Sometimes we think that praying is about "speaking nicely to God." But, in practice, praying is also about rediscovering ourselves.<\/p>\n It's as if prayer puts things in their place.<\/p>\n You may start the day lost, with a thousand thoughts, but when you call upon the Divine Shepherd, you will notice an inner order returning.<\/p>\n And why does this happen?<\/p>\n Because when God enters the center, everything that is out of place begins to gradually fall into place.<\/p>\n It's not magic. Prayer doesn't just change circumstances... it changes the way you walk through them.<\/p>\n There are pains that we don't talk about out loud.<\/p>\n "Silent" pains. Hidden pains. Pains that are kept hidden because we are afraid of appearing weak, or of being judged, or of worrying those we love.<\/p>\n But the Divine Shepherd is an expert at caring for this type of pain.<\/p>\n He takes care of:<\/p>\n repetitive thoughts that tire you out<\/p>\n<\/li>\n An old guilt that returns out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A deep longing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n fear of the future<\/p>\n<\/li>\n uncertainty about decisions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n feeling of not being enough<\/p>\n<\/li>\n internal pressures that no one understands<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n And perhaps the most incredible thing is this:<\/p>\n God does not treat you as a problem to be solved.<\/strong> That's a huge difference.<\/p>\n A pastor doesn't just tend to wounds. He takes care of the livelihood.<\/p>\n And that's incredibly symbolic, because there are days when what we lack isn't physical strength. It's spiritual nourishment.<\/p>\n It's as if the soul were "weak".<\/p>\n We try to cheer ourselves up with music, distractions, social media, productivity, but there's a hunger that only God can satisfy.<\/p>\n And then, suddenly, you pray: And the heart keeps remembering:<\/p>\n God has not forgotten me.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n God has not abandoned me.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n God is with me.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n God has a way out.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n God is faithful.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n This is food.<\/p>\n It's not just emotion. It's sustenance.<\/p>\n And a nourished faith is not a faith that never cries. If there's one thing that tries to dominate our lives, it's fear.<\/p>\n Fear of losing someone. And fear has a very cruel characteristic: it always makes you feel alone.<\/p>\n But the presence of the Shepherd makes fear lose its power.<\/p>\n Because fear is strong when you believe you have no one with you.<\/p>\n But when you call upon the Divine Shepherd, you are not calling upon an idea. You are calling upon a living God, a real Christ, who says:<\/p>\n \u201c"I'll guide you."\u201d<\/p>\n And when Jesus leads, you can cross the valley without being swallowed up.<\/p>\n Sometimes we think, "If God is a Shepherd, then He will only comfort me."\u201c<\/p>\n Yes, He does comfort.<\/p>\n But the Shepherd also guides. And guiding includes correcting the course.<\/p>\n God's correction is not humiliation. It is not violence. It is not senseless punishment.<\/p>\n God's correction is care.<\/p>\n It's when He takes you off a path that would destroy you.<\/p>\n It's when He closes a door that seemed perfect, but would cause you suffering.<\/p>\n It's when He bothers you with that peace "that won't let you stay where you don't belong.".<\/p>\n So, if at any point you felt God calling you to change something, to adjust something, to give up a habit, to return to what is essential\u2026 that doesn't mean God is "against you.".<\/p>\n It's the Shepherd protecting you.<\/p>\n And that, ultimately, is proof of love.<\/p>\n Because it has a silent but very powerful message:<\/p>\n You are being cared for.<\/strong><\/p>\n Some people spend their lives trying to prove their worth. Trying to deserve love. Trying to be seen.<\/p>\n And when you pray to the Divine Shepherd, you declare a truth that the world rarely confirms:<\/p>\n \u201c"I am loved before I am useful."\u201d<\/p>\n This is liberating.<\/p>\n This prayer touches us because it speaks to a deep human need:<\/p>\n the need to be guided without being controlled, And that is exactly how Jesus acts.<\/p>\n I want to suggest something simple to you.<\/p>\n The next time you pray, don't rush. Don't turn it into an obligation.<\/p>\n Act as if you're talking to someone who loves you.<\/p>\n You can say it in your own words:<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, I'm not feeling well today... but I'm here."\u201d<\/p>\n Or:<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, I don't know what to do. Guide me."\u201d<\/p>\n Or:<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, I'm scared. Hold me."\u201d<\/p>\n Or even:<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, take care of my home. Take care of my family. Take care of me."\u201d<\/p>\n Do you see? It doesn't have to be complicated.<\/p>\n Some prayers are tears. And He understands.<\/p>\n If you wish, you can make the Prayer to the Divine Shepherd a habit that strengthens your day.<\/p>\n Here's a simple, very practical suggestion:<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, guide my steps and guard my heart."\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, do not let my peace die."\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c"Divine Shepherd, take care of everything that I cannot control."\u201d<\/p>\n Ready.<\/p>\n This already changes the internal atmosphere.<\/p>\n Perhaps you are experiencing a time of waiting. Or of loss. Or of struggle.<\/p>\n And perhaps no one sees the weight you're carrying.<\/p>\n But let me remind you fondly:<\/p>\n The pastor is not only good when life is good. And if you're going through a time when it seems like there's no way out, that doesn't mean God has left the scene.<\/p>\n Sometimes, that's exactly where He works most deeply.<\/p>\n Not just to give you a solution... but to give you emotional and spiritual structure<\/strong> so as not to fall apart in the process.<\/p>\n Ultimately, the Prayer to the Divine Shepherd is more than tradition. It's more than memorized words.
