Prayer for the Promise of Victory

I will grant to the one who overcomes that he may feed on the tree of life that is in the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7

I thank God for having the immense privilege of talking to you once again. I bring my request for forgiveness now, because I want to be right with the Lord of hosts, the mighty in battles. Who can I look for, oh God, except the one who has been victorious from the beginning?. My soul seeks you because only in you can I obtain victory in battles. Before you come any barrier, so, God, my king, I feel attracted by the beauty of your holiness.

Powerful God,  I have nothing to offer you, other than this flawed, sinful heart, the only thing I can offer is him, but he wants to cling to you, the only one capable of transforming him. In the battles of life, I seek victory Lord, there I look at Christ and see that I am more than a winner. Holy One of Israel, I must remain firm in your grace, clinging to your absolute and transforming truth. 

Eternal God, I want to pass through the gates of the holy city, I want to eat from the tree of life that is found in your paradise. I want, Lord, to have this victory that the Lord grants to the repentant sinner who clings to his grace. I want to walk with Christ in the enchanted garden, your presence is the light of life, O sovereign of the kings of the earth, he who has his gaze firm before men.

To the Your promises, Lord, are faithful and enabling. Your promise is to the overcomer, so empower me to live this victory daily. Cleanse my heart My God, take me by the hand and assure me on your path of victory. If, by chance, I go astray at some point, may the voice of your Spirit come into my ears and say: “this is the path, walk in it”.

God, in this fight, The only thing I want to give up is sin, and live in your path, the only thing that I want to hate sin, the only thing I want to fear is the Lord, but in total reverence.

The path of victory is before me, because Christ was the one who walked it, opening the doors on Calvary to heaven. Help me, my God, preserve me on the right path, on the road to victory. Help me stay on the right path, on your flat Path, even if I am a person stoned by the trials that plague me.

Christ promised a blessing to the overcomer, he promised the fruit of the tree of life that is in his paradise, made for all the redeemed. I want to meet my friends and brothers, I want to be with all those with my heart. I want to establish myself in faith, I want to overcome the flesh, I want to overcome sin, I want to overcome the devil, establishing myself in the powerful grace of Jesus, who, although I was lost, found me.

Lord, if it is to the overcomer that you will give from the tree of life, then Lord, I will be through Christ, he is my guarantee, his blood covers me, his grace kisses my face gives me the key to enter paradise.

I take possession of the victory of Christ, prepare me, God, to stand before your presence, with a crown of victory. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
