Fill my heart with the gratitude that never takes such a blessing for granted. When I am thoughtless or careless in my relationships with those you have given me, give me the grace to ask for forgiveness.
When I feel hurt, give me the grace to forgive and forget the wrong. In moments of joy with my family, it gives me a heart of joy. In moments of sadness, give me a heart of compassion, so that we can live in harmony. May we offer each other the same love that the Lord gives us as his children. I ask this with a grateful heart for all you have given me. Amen."
