A prayer of true understanding What I do to you Lord is because of the enormous desire I have to be guided by you alone. I know that my life is full of ups and downs and that making mistakes is easy, so I need the Lord to help the tired and downcast. Without a doubt, all those who cry out to you will be under your faithful guardianship, because you do not forsake those who seek you. I deposit my faults in you, then forgive my sins and help me to walk uprightly.

I wish in this prayer of true understanding your instruction so that I may walk under your spiritual fatherly advice. Because I know that the Lord has the vision of the things of this world, for everything is open to your eyes. So I don't want to cling to my own understanding, leaving the Lord aside.
Oh my God, I'm afraid that I cling to opinions as if they were true. I don't want to live doing what I think is best, but your will that leads to the paths of heaven. Therefore hear this prayer of mine for true understanding and give me wisdom to make important decisions.
Holy God, I know that all those who rely on their own understanding are facing consequences that could even cost heaven. Therefore, I am afraid of making decisions that affect life here on this earth and the future. I cling to the cross of Christ, because although the world understands it as madness, it is in reality your power for the salvation of everyone who believes.

In this prayer of true understanding I seek the path of the righteous. I cling to the revealed truth and not the opinions of men, as they follow their own hearts. However, my desire is to glorify your name in every way, to have my plans in your will.
Let your Holy Spirit come to live in me, so, in my prayer of true understanding, I will always be guided by your truth. This way I will not follow emotions at the moment, I will not be trapped in ties that tie me when they go against your truth. So I don't want to make hasty decisions.
My life I place entirely in devotion in your hands so that my entire being may be sanctified in truth. So I would have the real understanding that comes from heaven to enliven my life and bring me closer to Jesus. In this prayer of true understanding, I recognize, O God, your infinite greatness. That's why I see your majesty in everything you created and your immense wisdom in every life of nature. So I can't stop looking for you, this being the case Wonderful and immutable God that you are.
Be the center of my life and come fill my entire being with your wisdom. In this way, O Holy God, I would have discernment between the holy and the profane, always following your eternal purpose for my life. I only ask that the Lord hear this prayer of true understanding because then I will be closer to you. With the Lord by my side I wouldn't have to be ashamed when I profess your truth. Even when I live it in my life I would be sure who I have believed in and where it will take me.
My God, I ask that you go to every person on this earth and touch their heart so that they have true understanding. This way they will be able to understand that the Lord has a call for their lives. This prayer I place on your altar, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
