Prayer of Gratitude

Thank God, then, for his ineffable gift.2 Corinthians 9:15

My God and beloved Father, I thank you, Lord, for every week that has passed, I thank God for the light of day, for everything I achieved during the week. How good, O God, is before you, righteous and compassionate Lord. O God, forgive my faults, help me to be closer to you every day. Remove everything that is bad from my heart, help me, O God, to use the gift of life. O God, may my life always come with a Spirit of gratitude for what the Lord has done in my life, strengthen my faith, guard my being and Guide me in the paths of righteousness for your name's sake.

I give thanks for life, for the past week, which my God gave me, I give thanks for Dom Celeste and for everything he went through, for the star and the night that the good God left for me, for the gift of eternal life and the hope that dawned. God the Father, great Lord of hosts, as The Lord has been kind to my life and strengthened my faith, and awaited my soul from the power of the enemy.

O God, even in a difficult situation in life, the Lord is there to help me, he shows me a great lesson, through it I can learn how important Christ's sacrifice was for my life. Lord God, kind Father, the cross of Christ shows your kindness, your tenderness and your great love towards the weak and sinful failure. So Heavenly Father, always stand me up in the face of difficulties, if I fall at some point or another, I know that the Lord is able to lift me up regardless of how many times I stumble and fall.

The Lord, Be my firm hand, so I can be with the Spirit always grateful, recognizing your power and majesty. I am recognizing that the Lord is a provider, recognizing that even in the waves of difficulties the Lord is the one who guides me in the storms of the day or the storms of the night. My God, your supreme gift was on a rude cross, erected, drops of blood fell, the pact was once again being made to unite humanity with the infinite God, with great mercy and power to save. How good it is, O God, to have the spirit of gratitude, to recognize that even in the midst of darkness you are my eternal consolation.

Lord give eternal Grace, may I come to give thanks in everything, may this weekend recognize your infinite gift, may I be a witness to the blessings that shone in my life. I am a grateful person for answered prayers and for everything that has happened. I don't know, God, what will happen in my life from now on, but I know that You are with me, I will have the strength to move forward.

Even, O Father, without me having to laugh, in moments of crying or difficulty, may I give you grace and true adoration, even though my heart is tight. Knowing, O God, that you are just and compassionate, that you enable us to worship you and to endure trials, the flames of truth will shine in my heart and result in transforming grace. My life needs you, my heart desires your presence, so come and shape me, save me and my family for your kingdom. Open the doors of heaven without measure and strengthen our spiritual life. I ask for all of this and I thank God in the name of Jesus, amen.
