Anointing Prayer

And you have an anointing that comes from the Holy One and you all have knowledge.1 John 2:20

In this anointing prayer of mine God, holy Father, how good it is to be completely connected to you, I seek with this anointing prayer because I know that it is the Lord who anoints your children. In this way, my dear God, I will be able to be a person prepared to move forward to the work that the Lord wants me to accomplish. This way my life will always be towards your goal so that I can be a blessing to everyone around me. May the Lord place the coals of the altar upon me to purify me of my sins so that I can move forward and upward.

This anointing prayer is a recognition that the Lord prepares all those who follow your path. This way they will live a special life for the exaltation of the cross of Christ, because he is the source of grace for all humanity. I know, my God, that not everyone wants complete surrender, but I do. So do your work in me so that I may always be firm in your great purpose in my life.

My Father, how good it is to draw near to you, to love your truth, to seek you with a great desire of heart. In this anointing prayer is the immense desire to seek the power of the Holy Spirit to live and preach with power that comes from above. My desire is to have a sanctifying life and action on others. This way people's lives can be brightened with your eternal truth that transformed the lives of the worst people on this earth.

Your anointing demonstrates your choice of a person for your special purpose. Thus his sanctifying influence can act upon man's life and do in him that which cannot be done on his own.. Thus I will erase myself from Christ and take possession of his merits on the cross of Calvary.

Dear God, the Lord anointed him because he had a purpose in his life as king of Israel. This is how the Lord acted on many in the past because he had a special purpose in their lives. So help me to be used for the honor and glory of your holy name

May your light shine through me and transform the lives of all those around me. Help be a channel of blessing to suffering humanity by bringing peace of Spirit to their hearts. In this anointing prayer I ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that all my actions may be for the honor and glory of your holy and blessed name. I pray that I always put myself in refuge that the Lord offers, so I will always be safe.

I know that although I am flawed, I recognize your greatness and how the Lord has used all people in the past. Holy Father, I know I'm not better than others on this earth, but I know there are better choices. Therefore, the best choice there is is to be by your side living your sanctifying truth.

Remove from me every selfish action, every pride and everything that can serve as a bond in my life. Listen, dear God, to this prayer of anointing and be the balm that refreshes my heart in this moment of great heat. Cleanse me, and each of my family members, acting powerfully in their lives in the name of Jesus, answer this prayer. Amen!
