Prayer of the Rude Cross

And they constrained a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, father of Alexander and Rufus, who was passing by, coming in from the country, to carry the cross.Mark 15:21

My God, this prayer of the rude cross it is my recognition of your greatness and how the sacrifice was enough to save me from sin. I certainly need you, because eternal life is for all those who accept the message and embrace it with all their strength. Therefore, I ask that you forgive my sins and give me strength to walk towards the promised land, the one you promised to those who love the Lord.

O my God, help me to be closer to you every day so that I can always grow by your side into eternal life. Just like the Cyrenean man, I will carry the cross of Christ, not physically, but in my daily struggle, presenting myself as a good soldier of Christ.

So take charge of my life, helping me to restrain myself when necessary and act according to my sacred duty. That man had no idea that he was carrying his savior's cross and that of the entire world. That's why he didn't know that the creator of all things became man to save his life. But I know, that's why I present myself to the Lord with this prayer from the rude cross.

My soul cries out to you every day to quench my spiritual thirst. Help me to cling to the cross of Jesus so that my life can be lived with purpose because in Jesus I have eternal salvation. For sure Only in Christ do I have security and confidence to face all battles.

The gates of heaven opened for the king of glory to enter, for he brought salvation to everyone who believes in him. So I cling to the greatest work of all time, the salvation and transformation of all who gave their lives to Jesus. So come help me always see your love even in the midst of pain and difficulty. That's why I will always be saying this prayer of the rude cross.

Holy God, have mercy on me every day and do in me the work you want for my life. Transform my character so that I always exalt your character, so my life will be changed forever. I clung to the merits of Christ because only they can redeem me, it is the gift of grace.

Eternal God takes away all the burdens in my life, or at least discouragement in the face of difficulties. So I will always be firm to honor your name forever. If in the face of pain Christ cured me of my illnesses, then I will place myself at your feet so that I may be healed from the lashes of the enemy.

Look at me at this moment and help me to be a better person, preparing me for the final crisis that will come upon the world. This way I will always be walking along the narrow path of salvation. So answer this prayer from the rude cross, because I know it was a moment of sadness and pain that saved me. I thank you, kind God. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
