Father of lights, I present myself before you with this prayer for the blessing of Christ because I see in this biblical passage how much people care about attitudes like that of the poor widow. So I am filled with joy in knowing that it is not the size of the things done to you that matter, but the reasons behind each act.

This widow gave everything she had, her life was there, her devotion to her gratitude, a living adoration that is impressive. So Father, help me to give my whole life to you, may my heart be yours at all times. Like this my life will testify of you and your love for your people.
O my God, I seek you with this prayer of Christ's blessing asking forgiveness for my sins and to help me move forward in this struggle of life. In this way, come and help me have a spirit of surrender regardless of the situation in which I live. Father, take away from me any spirit of avarice, I know that What the Lord asks is not money, but obedience through faith and love for you.
Father, dwell in my life so that I may have a much broader view of you, looking to the author of my faith, Jesus. I don't want to get caught up in myself, I don't want to focus on myself, but be closer to you with one unshakable faith.

I know that without your grace I will never achieve victory, I know that without Jesus I can do nothing. So in this prayer of Christ's blessing I take my life to the Lord who is its author. That way I sanctify myself in my beloved savior.
Just like the poor widow, help me to give myself to the Lord and act according to your blessings in my life. Certainly that when life hides in you, it is vivified. So help me to be hidden in Christ, give me peace like this widow, help me to have the same faith as hers.
In this prayer of Christ's blessing I come to you with the same spirit as the poor widow, with immense gratitude for accepting me. What your love come be a daily part of my life and may my actions be a reflection of the miracle that works in me.
I will not stray from my calling, I will not live without you, because my life is trapped in you. As your servant I place my life in you, help me to deposit part of my treasures, part of my time, my talent and my gifts to the Lord.
