“Jesus told them another parable, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and left. When the wheat sprouted and formed ears, the tares also appeared.

“The servants of the owner of the field came to him and said, 'Did you not sow good seed in your field? So where did the chaff come from? '

"'An enemy did it,' he replied. “The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to take it away? '

“He replied, 'No, because when you take out the tares, you will be able to take out the wheat with it.

Let them grow together until harvest. Then I will say to those in charge of the harvest: First gather the tares and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and store it in my barn' .

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through belief in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10:17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
