“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never be hungry; whoever believes in me will never thirst.

But as I told you, you have seen me, but you still do not believe. Whatever the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never reject.

For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but to do the will of him who sent me.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should not lose any of those he gave me, but raise them up on the last day.

For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through belief in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10:17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
