“Now the disciples of John and the Pharisees fasted; and they went and said unto him, Why do the disciples of John and the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples not fast?

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the marriage fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have their husband with them, they cannot fast;
But the days will come when their husband will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.
No one puts a patch of new cloth on old clothes; Otherwise, the same new patch breaks the old one, and the tear becomes bigger.
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the new wine breaks the wineskins and the wine spills out, and the wineskins are ruined; new wine must be poured into new wineskins“.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day
As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through belief in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10:17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
