“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

But I told you that you also saw me, and yet you do not believe.
Everything that the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

And the will of the Father who sent me is this: That none of all that he has given me should perish, but that he be raised up on the last day.

For this is the will of him who sent me: That everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day.

The Importance of the Gospel of the Day

As Christians, we place a high value on God’s Word. It is through belief in the Word of God that we are saved (Rm 10:17). The Word of God then becomes our guide for life in all circumstances, whether in employment, in social life or even in the family circle. Our aspiration should be to live by the Word of God.
